About Me

I write because
the truth deserves space.
Hi, I'm Nivani. I'm a writer, a mother, a mental health advocate, and someone who spent a very long time looking like she had it all together while quietly unravelling on the inside.
I started writing this blog the night before my 30th birthday when I realised I had absolutely no idea who I was or what I wanted. It became my way of making sense of the world — and, eventually, of myself.
Over the years, this space has held my adventures in New Zealand, my pregnancy journey, becoming a mother, grief, identity crises, spiritual awakenings, and the slow, tender work of building a life that actually feels like mine.
I believe that sharing our real, unpolished stories is one of the most radical acts of self-love and human connection available to us. This is mine. I'm glad you're here.
The things that matter most.
Mental Health
Living honestly with anxiety, burnout, and the invisible weight we carry.
Spirituality
Finding meaning, practising presence, and staying connected to something larger.
Motherhood
The messy, magnificent reality of raising a little human while becoming yourself.
Career & Identity
Navigating ambition, purpose and knowing when to pivot.
Life & Travel
Stories from the places and moments that changed me.
Grief & Growth
Honouring what we've lost and finding the thread that leads us forward.
"Owning our story and loving ourselves through that process is the bravest thing we'll ever do."— Brené Brown
